DIFFERENTIAL: The power from the engine and the transmission is delivered to the rear wheels via the drive line and the differential. The differential is a set of gears bathed in oil that allows the power to take a 90 degree turn and go to the wheels. The differential oil will need to be checked and inspected periodically. Maintenance of the differential involves removing the fill plug. If fluid does not spill out, you'll need to refill until fluid does spill out using a transmission pump.
